Thank you!

I haven’t had much time to update this blog recently as I am fully immersed in my second novel with a deadline looming but I just had to pop my head up over the parapet to say a thank you to my Aussie readers: I’ve just heard the Australian publishers are printing Secrets of the Tides for the third time! Incredible and so unexpected. Thank you to everyone who has read and supported my debut. I wish I could hug you all.

Orion in the UK have just confirmed that their paperback edition will be out on 30th August. You can check out its refreshed cover in the gallery here.

Thanks for stopping by. H x

Feel free to come along to this one, Sydneysiders …

How does a Balmain woman, while pregnant, write a novel which then sparks an international bidding war and gets sold to nine other countries including the USA, France, Germany and Britain? And what is she working on now?

You can find out when Hannah Richell talks and answers questions at our Meet The Author Evening at 6.30 p.m.,Thusday, August 9th.

Hannah is the author of the very well reviewed ‘Secrets of the Tides’. This compelling story is told from the different viewpoints of three women, Helen and her two daughters. Each tells her story giving her perspective of what happened in the past. With well-rounded characters this is a gripping and emotionally charged novel.

The event will be held at All About Romana’s Cafe, 260 Darling Street, Balmain.Tickets are $10 (finger food and drinks provided) and can be purchased at Brays Books .
